What is your "disability?"
-------------------- Acid doesn't give you truths; it builds machines that push the envelope of perception. Whatever revelations came to me then have dissolved like skywriting. All I really know is that those few years saddled me with a faith in the redemptive potential of the imagination which, however flat, stale and unprofitable the world seems to me now, I cannot for the life of me shake. -Erik Davis

I have this in my back
The above and blow disc are wearing out fast.
I had what’s called the Harrington rods (done at Duke), put into my back in 98.To slow down the Scoliosis that was growing out of hand. I had two ½” inch SS metal rods. They also chip up of some of my hip bone to hold the rods in place. Now four of my disc are compassing above and below the rods. I had to give up my job, as a line cook
Do you thank, I'm disabile now?

my stepdad broke his back when he got caught in a turbine at the power plant he works at. He had a few screws put in, but nothing like that! damn, why not just be hunched over and not deal with all that gear?
*looking at the xray, if you didnt get it fixed, would you be sideways?

Rub some dirt on it and walk it off.

So honestly though (I'm not familiar with disability), do you just get a check once a month?
What do they base the amount given on? are they any stipulations etc.?

i actually filed online back in like jan. and got the money (like $250) in my checking account less than a week later with direct deposit My state refunds are always so skeet it's not even worth filing. I got $1 last year, and I figured it'd cost more for gas to go like a mile to deposit the check than it was worth
