You might benefit from letting the grains sit for a day to let any endospores germinate so that they will be more susceptible to death by pressure cooking.

what is the colonization time like with the pint jars? If its around 30 days that would work out great if you figure about 1 week per flush cause i usualy fill my jars up within a week of sending the colonized cakes to the chamber, and I just bought a 5lb bag of finch seed. I would make up some jars tomarrow but I dont have any spores and my malt extract water jars are not doing so well
