The bad taste is more concentrated in dried ones.
With fresh ones, I can just pop them in my mouth, take a sip of a flavored drink, and only taste the drink.
Dry ones have an overpowering bad taste and smell and they stick in your teeth.

i find it easier to eat dried. 3g (dry) takes a whole lot less time to eat then 30g (wet), i think its easiser on the stomach as well.

Dried ones i find more unpleasent for some reason then fresh ones, but its easier for me to consume dry ones.

Just break up the mushies into small pieces and throw em in your mouth, wash down with a tasty beverage and you golden. No tasting no chewing.
