There are still some funny things on Nickelodeon. THe advertising is terrible, but I think it's better than the rich life emulation like the Disney Channel likes to do. Although, their programming is cleaner in a lot of regards to Nick. But isn't liking disgusting things part of being a kid?
Fairly Odd Parents is a good new one. Mr. Meaty is just about two stoners that work at a fast food place. That shit makes me laugh, but it's not good enteratinment for kids in my opinion. The commercials are the worst. Bunch of 7 year old slut wannabe's. Have you seen those Bratz sluts? WTF

I recently watched legends of the hidden temple and it was surprisingly not entertaining, but I did love it when I was a kid. The host was kinda creepy in a pedophile way
LD - yea that is funny about mark summers, I read somewhere that he would even trim his carpet

Haven't seen it in years but I don't remember noticing anything strange about the host when I was younger. Now I'm going to have to download and watch an episode or two.

do they make it obvious that they are stoners?
yea advertising is insane now-a-days, fucking luring kids into having unthinkable brand loyalty for life, plus the measures they take to ensure that they sell their product are really insane. the documentary The Corporation goes into it, it is a must see and will really open your eyes to what is going on

Well, they are stereotypical stoners. They never actually smoke or reference it in it of course. I couldn't find a good example online, however the same guys do this show, which is an example of how they reference drugs without mentioning them.
http://youtube.com/watch?v=EVoBU6l73zw
When I worked there, all the guys in development and puppetry were complete stoners with long hair and pink floyd shirts. They were cool, and always found a way to have talking mushrooms and animals play a part in the show. It was crazy. As an intern there, I manned one of the rat puppets one episode and dressed up as a dancing panda bear during Panda Bear and Cow dancing time on U Pick Live. A disco ball would come down and all the kids in the audience would stand up and me and my buddy would come out dressed like a panda bear and cow and dance for 30 seconds. A bunch of trippy funny stoners running that operation. The guy who made the slime was the coolest!

salute your shorts you cant do that on television hey dude, these shows prove you are of legal age to drink, and use this website. thats what they should have instead of enter your birthdate, you should have to name a charecter from salute your shorts.
I agree.
