Guess it's been a while since I've posted at the shroomery.. I totally forgot there was a different forum for contamination
Anyway, there's a possibility that the honey water I grew mycelium on is contammed. Is there anything I can do to reverse this? The mycelium is very rhizomorphic right now and I'm doing everything I can to keep from throwing it away, because it's pretty much all I have left of the strain. I don't have access to agar or anything right now, so I can't grow it out on that.. Are there any other options? Thanks.
Actually, I saw that Strain Saver idea a while ago.. Was thinking about it, but I've never heard of it anywhere else than there. I guess it's worth a shot though. I really gotta save up for a pressure cooker and some agar Thanks for the advice, I'll try it out 'n see how it goes
