Put them in the box and tape it shut. Put this in a bigger box and run a light bulb in there. BE CAREFUL. Do not start a fire. Should bring it up to the 80's.

Check your local thrift stores for an electric heating pad. I got one for a few bucks, and I keep it under my plastic Rubbermaid incubator on low all the time. It keeps it at 85?F.

I got 2 shallow rubbermaid bins, $3.99 each, (fit 40 half pints) and used one of my submearsable heaters that has the heat setting on it, set it for 83? and it has been as been keeping it at that temp inside the incubator for a long time. The heaters are like $25 but it was worth it. Now I dont have to worry about it.

I agree the lava lamp would diminish any fungus farms future. I have found 3 heating pads at resale shops for very little money. About $5. I would try this
route.
