Wow, I'm a little surprised by the doubtful post's.
The figures are accurate. There were only 2 people on the hunt. There were several consumers, though. I've posted pics of every find I've made since I been on the shroomery, I don't know why one single pictureless post would get so much doubt. huh. Review my post's, pic gallery and whatnot. I'm not about that shit.
I guess all I can say is, fuck the haters.

I live near atlanta, but I have been checking fields further south, but not as far as Macon, and nothing yet, but were in a damn drought here in Georgia. Wish the rains would come. Will droughts destroy mycelium networks, or can they endure.

right on J- u r correct- Ive seen your gallery , past posts , etc... very convincing that u Did indeed find what u said- I guess the main thing is that its somewhat early in the season for that kind of haul- to me at least- peace and good Luck 
Massless... with droughts here in TX Ive experienced that a majority of the mycelium is prob temporarily screwed up but I have found cubes in the middle of June with temps up to 90* with little rain

Once again, please read the whole post. I mentioned that all the shrooms were quite large, and many were rotting. This should indicate the end of the fruiting stage for that field. The description of the shrooms only growing around sources of water, instead of fencelines, where cubes are commonly found, should also point to dry conditions, which would mean that new fruits were not likely. So, as I may wish that many cubes were still in that field, I would think most would be rotting today, and not worth the time, gas, and effort required.
The next rain, I will be back, and I will have some pics, as I usually do. And when I do, I want 5 shrooms from everyone who doubted me.

Please excuse my hostility. I was a little offended by being doubted. I'm not about making shit up, and tellings stories. I guess thats why I took it to heart, because I am always real with everyone here. I posted all my finds here, small ones, to large ones that has yielded me over 2 ounces of dry cubensis. I figured my post would encourage fellow shroomerites to get in gear and go find some shrooms. I was not posting that in an effort to 'make myself look cool' or for attention, I was simply trying to encourage and inspire. If one person is encouraged to hunt after reading my post, and they find anything, then that would make me happy. Posting a find in an effort to draw attention, or for other ego-related purposes is not me.
nushroom, if you feel my hater comment was directed towards you, I apologize. A hater, by my usage of that word, would be describing someone who completely denies my post, and automatically assumes I'm making the shit up. I can understand it being a little hard to believe, but if the member has even a little rep here, I wouldnt doubt them, I would congradulate them. Granted, I havent been here long, and i dont have near the amount of posts that the recognized members have, but I keep it real.
Once again, I apologize if I offended you in any way. I will be sure to get pics of my future finds. And I do apreciate how you didnt get hostile with me, despite my ludeness.

Man, everyone talks about copes like they find them all the time! I've picked pounds of cubes in several different fields but i still have not found a single cope. I know what to look for, i guess i just haven't gone to the right fields yet...
