I wouldn't worry about the kid. It says possession, not manufacturing or cultivation. Since the two plants didn't weigh very much it will probably be a minor charge with little or no jail time.

As far as the lit joint... He was probably just in a hurry. If you toss a lit object down they'd probably charge you with attempted arson. If it burned a little hole in the carpet that would change to arson. That's not something you want to get busted for.

As far as the record I think people worry too much. Most employers who even bother to do the background check don't give two shits unless you have a record of violent crimes. Most don't check for misdemeanors anyways, just felonies.

Hello I just so happen to be autumn wishard. Umm thats all bullshit!!! The door was not open, the blunt was not lit, etc. Oh and the cops stole all of our money. Big deal, we were growing some weed, they didnt have a right to search our house.
