hey guys,

This has nothing to do with melbourne, but i know how melbournites are very one eyed with everything to do with melbourne.;) But bear with me.

Recently moved from a property in qld with lots of cow poop and shrooms to adelaide...

Have no idea where to look, searched these forums, no one is willing to give away their secret spots understandibly..

I have some newly landscaped areas around where i live with chip bark, it seems unlikely that it will produce anything, but wont hurt to look..

Anyone from adelaide wanna go hunting? Share their secret spots? Its been pissing down with rain lately and the temp is due to drop very soon, more rain expected next week so it is potentially looking pretty good.

Well, went picking today and didn't find anything promising. Got to my usual hunting spot to find it mostly burnt out.. looked like controlled burning. So i think ill give it a few more weeks before i search again.

Yeah thats it. The rain we've had has been very promising, the temps are the only thing holding the season back IMO.

Im gonna go to all my patches next weekend, so ill let you know if anything has popped up.

Just go to landscaped areas with brown woodchips. I say brown, because for some reason I've never found them growing on red woodchips, but it may just be superstition on my part.

You'll find them easily. When I first started I swore I'd never find them. Then, after my first time, I kept finding larger and larger patches.

The only secret is to look and keep looking.

With all this rain I'm probably going to start looking mid to late week.

Hopefully people will start posting some of their pics soon.

Im so stoked right now, I just found my first subs of the year. I wasnt even hopefull or expecting anyting but just happened to stumble across this little patch.

There was still quite a few pins still coming up so i'll be keeping a close eye on the area espiacaly as its first time this mulch bed has produced being layed only early last year. Enjoy:)

Apparently the boyfriend fought off the two lions after she recieved severe injuries to her head, neck, torso and legs. Someone else was killed by a lion at that reserve not long ago also. Im guessing they got too close. Haha I was wondering what the fuck u where on about till I was looking at that pic again.

Hmmm haven't seen anything from Hanky, yet. I bet I'll find more actives this month than he does.

Your right Nyalgod, I am pleased to point out I found a SUBstancial  patch in a persons front yard, landscaped with red woodchips, they were a really solid mushroom, and it was definately red woodchips, they almost looked painted. Btw i was in north east melbourne

Happy Shrooming

I went for a walk yesterday and found heaps of LBM's but although they looked like shroomeup's post they did not bruise blue. Although they were very young, will they still bruise blue when young?
Also just incase your on this board, the guy that was walking through a SE botanical park,at about 4:30pm i was the guy walking the other way. Did you find the ones i was talking about? Also it was so obvious what you were doing  If you do read this let me know if those ones in the bed where p.subs.
