Innoculating thought...

Hello and Peace to all.

Today is a happy day. Last night I innoculated my first two jars of Equador
cubensis. I was more than cautious about sterilization and worked with gloves
and medicine mask... Hope everything will be ok.

The question is: After putting the spores to the syringe + water [i thought that
the water in there will be obviously colored, but nope] its time for innoculation.
I was holding the syringe upside down so as to innoculate and i saw that spores
[or should i say clumps of spores??] are heavier than water, so most of them
were at the bottom of the syringe. That means that logically, the first three-four
innoculations will be somehow stronger than the eighth or tenth...

Am I wrong? Perhaps its something wrong in my method...

The spores are very small. Thus they don?t sink very fast. Means if you shake the syringe befor the inoculation, all the jars will receive roughly the same amount of spores.

When you flame sterilise the needle just before innoculation, suck in some of the flame air.
That way you`ll be able to shake the syringe to get those spores spread.

Personally, I had to shake my Mazatapec syringe for quite some time to get even distribution, because all the spores were in one giant clump when I received it in the mail. Maybe I had a profoundely rough syringe though. I definitely had enough for my last five jars, though!
