2nd flush?

I'm using a straight PFtek right now.
My first flush on all my cakes has been amazing!
what can i do to promote a second flush?
i've had a few sparse shrooms grow from already harvested cakes, but no real new growth.
I think i'll try casing next, but what can i do till then?
