ID on mushie found in pot

Hey all,

I found a little mushroom growing in a rosebush pot in my garden and i was wondering what it was.

Location: It was found growing of a root-ball of a rose-bush im a pot.

Conditions: Has been raining and rather cool for the last 5 days or so. Souther Ontario is the location.

Size: 2 inche long stem, about 1mm thick. Cap is about 0.5 inches long and very thin.

Description: Stem is light brown at the bottom, turning into white as it nears the cap. Cap is brown, very dome-like shape with no nipple. Gills are very close together, brownish-grey in color. There is no veil.

Sporeprint color: I will sporeprint it tonight.

If there is any info im missing, sorry. I'm not sure if this is the right forum, its not cultivation but its not mushroom hunting either .

I am almost 100% sure its not Psilocybe and i dont think it is any other psychoactive mushroom. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what has invaded my rose-bush?

Are there any psychoactive mushroom species that grow in Southern Ontario(Ottawa area)?

You will need to upload a digital pic to get an ID. It would be very difficult or impossible to tell you what it is by a text description.

Cut a piece of the stem, does it stain blue?

I found a similar sounding mushroom, a patch in fact in my garden.
I squeezed the stem , and no bluing.
So i decided to take a print.
When I got back in the morning all the mushrooms had withered to sticky goop.
SO I checked on my print and the mushroom had turned to dark spore filled water and the cap witherd and looked like marmite.

So I`d be careful and wouldn`t eat those.

Well the sporeprint was dark dark brown. The paper that i took the sporeprint on i put in my rose-bush pot, do you think more will grow?
