no spores / substratre question
    #6837585 - 04/26/07 04:12 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

Folks,

received a syringe with GT spore containted.. I did not see any spores (or any particles for that matter) incased within the syringe liquid.

I innocced about 1 week ago and no sign of germination. Thus leads me to beleive that spores were absent, most likely an error on the vendors part.

In this case, is it ok to use the same jars and substrate to innocc new spores? (i will wait it out a few mroe days before doing so , just in case)
thanks

i wouldn't do that, jars and substrate arn't that expensive, just throw out old subsrate and re-use old jars, after cleaning of course. wait couple more days. if nothing try over with new batch.

Agreed on inoculating with new spores, but you can easily re-sterilize that substrate for a new batch. Close your jars back up and pressure cook again.
