spore syringes made from prints

Have been reading on making spore syringes from a print and have had a few questions that have been playing on my mind.
1) When making spore syringes how diluted can you get (roughly) and still have success? e.g. Just look slightly dark or be black/purple
2) When you have the syringes, what is the best way to store them? How long will these last (shelf life)?
3) When injecting how much do you inject? Is it the same as a normal spore syringe? e.g. 0.5ml/cc in each hole, so 2ml/cc in each cake
Thanks for ur help in advance

Even if you can't see spores (the water looks clear) there are probably spores there. If you can see ANYTHING in the water, there are millions of spores. Most people say use 1/4 of a print for a syringe but I use the whole thing. My syringes are pretty much black, lol.

In a dark, room temperature place. They will last about a year or so...the fridge is a good place to keep them.

Yes...it's the same; about 1 cc per jar (1/4 cc per hole).

yeah i would like to ask the same thing as newbie shroomer , how many syringes can you make from one print ? if i make 4 syringes from one print and put them in 250 ml jars can i still trust for a healthy and fast growth , or should i make just 2 syringes ?

my syringes are hell diluted. they just look like normal clear water. and so far all have worked fine. i was using 1-2mL per injection though, so roughly 8mL per cake.

i usually just use one print for one syringe...but yeah a few syringes should be fine, i've always heard most people make like 4 per print if it's a decent sized print

Are the syringes ordered from vendors the same as what we will be doing here? Because these are all clear and have no (visible) signs of dark spores.
If they are basically the same then surely you can get away with diluting until clear of basically clear. Obviously you will have better success if you kept the liquid dark but just trying to make the most of what i will get.

A large thick print contains around 300 to 400 million spores. You can get 50 (10 ML) syringes out of a large print. You do the math on spores per syringe @ 50.

Agar,
how much approx of a print would you cut off at a time to make one syringe. people on here are saying cut it into 1/4's which i was gonna do. but you say you can get roughly 50 syringes out of one print? so duh you would cut it up into 50 sections.

use a 1/4" by 1/4" square from your print for each syringe.
spores are microscopic... so they are not vissible to the nakkid eye... unless you have a crap load of spores in the syringe.
dark syringes can be counter productive.

put your syringes in ziplock bags and store them in the frig... I have some syringes that are going on 6 years old in my frig... and they are still viable.

2cc's in cakes.
your making normal spore syringes I assume.

Agar, thanks dude 50 is a hell of a lot of syringes and thats like 250 cakes (if you injected 2cc per cake). Dont think i will use 50 syringes so may try a more "stronger" solution/ratio.
Roadkill, guess an average print is about 1 inch (probs more) so thats a good 15 syringes worth. Spores have a long shelf life, which should be good if i need to store them away (probs not for 6 years though).
When i said normal spore syringes i meant the 1s you purchase from vendors. I was planning on making my spore syringes by filling 1 10cc syringe with the whole of the spore print in water and then diluting this master with other syringes. This will be done by putting 1cc into glass then diluting with 9cc of sterile water and creating a spore syringe for use. (estimated values, real values may be 0.5cc of to 9cc / does this sound about right?)

So what is better room temp or fridge, the fridge is colder so will this shock the spores and make them think it is past winter and ready to grow?
