Order of Operation
    #6834071 - 04/25/07 07:45 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

So... I was thinking that maybe I could get a list from an expert about the order of operations..

A list of steps that one should go through to get to expert lvl...

First is PF tek.. then grain... then.....

From easiest to hardest...

Then... spawning grain or brf cakes to a bulk substrate.

It doesn't really matter where you start, just start somewhere.  Learn by doing.  And reading about your chosen tek.

Once you learn the basics, all of the teks will make sense to you and you shouldn't have any problem producing cubes.  Just remember, patience is key.

Uh, just make sure you get lots of XP and then put it all into con, or else your HP will suck when you get to the highest level.

Seriously, what the hell? Start with PF, because it's easy... then figure out what you want to try from there. Then try it. Some things are harder and less effective for different people than others.

For example, I don't do grain. I toss my PF cake in the food processor and blend it into a bag of pasteurized straw. I might try poo next, who knows? But I think this is the cheapest, easiest, best way... so I don't see the purpose of trying grains, which are a bitch to pre-soak and PC.

Ive been doin this for almost a year, and Im startin to get the hang of it.But ive found bulk to be way easier than cakes.I never got more than a couple shrooms off cakes, but as soon as I did bulk I got way more shrooms than I thought I would ever have.If you got a pc I say skip the cakes altogether and go grain to coir or poo.Search for bulk teks or grain teks somethin of that sort.Read alot and eventually it will click. Good luck

"There is a world beyond ours, a world that is far away, nearby, and invisible. And there it is where God lives, where the dead live, the spirits and the saints, a world where everything has already happened and everything is known. That world talks. It has a language of its own. I report what it says. The sacred mushroom takes me by the hand and brings me to the world where everything is known. It is they, the sacred mushrooms, that speak in a way I can understand. I ask them and they answer me. When I return from the trip that I have taken with them, I tell what they have told me and what they have shown me."
