Colonization Pics

Ok, I am on day number 2 and 7 hours into my grow. I see what appears to be small white strands, but I cannot tell exactly what they are as of yet. I have searched pretty hard but I can't find any pics that show a day by day bit of growth/colonization. It would be a beauty to see some so I can tell if I really have growth.

If you used spore syringes, I doubt you're seeing growth after 2 days. It took 7 days for my B+ cakes to show any sign of growth.
Just put them back in your incubator and wait a couple of days, take a look again and see if it grew. be patient and good luck!

Leave it for a week then take a look. Some dont see growth for up to 1 1/2 - 2 weeks. Patients is a virtue.

It's entirely possible it's mycelium. You'll probably know in another day.
Just hope it doesn't turn green! Keep looking for pics, there's a million on here.

Ok, I wasnt expecting anything, but I do see a little bit of white that is around the edges of the verm on some jars in the general area of the inoculation points.
I have to boil water three times everyday to keep my ghettocubator warm, and while replacing the water I end up looking at the jars. Is this exposure to light going to really slow things down?

Man, I wouldn't bother with all that boiling water stuff. Thats a lot of extra work. I'd just do them at room temp. It might take a few more says but nothing major.

correct me if im wrong. the 3 things that innitiate pinning
1. change in co2 levels 2. exposure to light 3. temp drop
i do think that exposure to light will slow things down, just chec on them in a week or so and you'll be happy at what u find. i know its hard i checed on my all the time at first.
