I think you humidity is to low. That looks like Mycelium growing on the outside of the cake wich means theres not enough humidity to form pins.

It might be ok but keep a close eye on it......I've had some cakes look like that and then boom...next day green mold everywhere.

I have 2 inches of perlite and a inch of water, then i mist 3 times a day, what might be wrong?

your problem is not too little humidty, it is too much. Tat s what causes cottony growth like that. he great thing about cakes is that they really don't need much help in the form of misting or really any humidity at all. Perilite is all you need and if you have standing water, get rid of it. Use the old ignore technique. Works everytime.

Yeah thats definetly too much himidity. Instead of spraying 3 times a day, fan out 3 times a day. The perlite will work fine for humidity.

If that is mycelium growing on your cake, I assume that it would mean the same. Could be wrong though
