Ok, there's a decent site i get stuff from in the UK.. it's called micro-science.co.uk, problem though with this site is it's so goddamn expensive.. they like your money!
To buy a self healing injector bag with air filter costs £10 for 5 of them... that's $20 for 5 bags!!
I wonder how much it actually costs them to make it, and i wonder how i can make it just like theirs..
Anyone know how these bags are made? ..and how they are constucted?
Cheers

If you can secure a good source for bags that can stand the heat, then not very expensive. I have had a hard time finding bags rated to handle that kind of heat and pressure. They make stick on self healing injection ports, or you can use RTV gasket sealer. As for the air exchange, you could cut a hole then put micro pore tape over it. I have never done this, I am merely suggesting something that will certainly work, as long as you make it right.

I have been using jars since i started, and will still continue to use jars. But as for liquid culture and better elimination of contaminants i think bags are a great modern approach to growing. I'll continue to use jars aswell though. I just got a 40cm impulse sealer so i'm looking forward to testing bag methods.
As for decent enough bags.. i just purchase roasting bags/oven bags and they are quite cheap off ebay. (never seen them in UK shops) ..(very American me thinks...) Anyway these bags might be able to cope with the temps and pressure. At least i would imagine..
