I blew the plug in my co-op
 Its a National Cooperative cooker but i cant find a new plug Any help is appreciated

I'll bet you could take the lid to a local boiler shop and have them drill out where the plug was and tap it to fit a modern steam relief valve. Get something in the 20 to 25 psi range. I'm assuming that parts are no longer available from the manufacturer? You could also have them drill and tap a 1/8" NPT hole and get a relief valve from AA. They would then weld the original hole shut for you. RR

I already have a nice steam relief that works perfect on this cooker Do you know what the plugs were rated at? I dont know if the plugs were rated for pressure or Temp? They are probably rated for Temp but i dont know for shure

Roger my relief valve let all the pressure out but then the cooker was still getting heat from my stove and thats what blew the plugs guts out Im shure its rated by heat I just want to make it safe again because i love this cooker I got a new one today
 Its a bit smaller but its another old sweet one

Is it a silicone/rubber plug?
Or, some other type, with threads?
