useing a diffrent method

ive been useing pint jars the last 6 monthes and now i baught 12 half pints do innoculate GT/B+

was wondering how long should i expect 100% colonization of the jars at

half pints suck. innoc about 25 between 10 and 13 days ago two diff strains. got growth within a few days then it stopped. followed pf tek to the T. also innoc some rye. the rye is the way to go. got good growth on a good casable material also going to have atleast one master jar for grain to grain transfer. take the 1/2 pinters back and buy quarts. some of the rye recip. on here suck. tried them until the vendor i purchased from gave me the perfect recp. grain 100% shakeable. i'm fixin to chunk my half pinters just to get them out of my fuckin way. oh yeah got growth on grain in five or six days from spores.

ur doin somthing wrong i always get growth within 3-5 days good luck...

Walt, something is wrong then, my friend has 70% colonization by day 8 on some half pints ....... B+, and on the EQ complet colonization on a few by 12 days, almost all but one by 14 days........also, this is his first time and he has done more jars since and all have showed comparable growth.

These two pics are B+ at five days - 1/2 pints

my jars are always 100% at day 12 usually,depending on the aggression of the strain

half pint rocks!

i would rather have a shit load of half pints colonized fast than half the number with pints that take longer to colonize

did that make sense
