Drying... Cpu fan with Tyvek
    #6827767 - 04/24/07 02:11 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

Do you think that I should use a Tyvek envelope as a filter in front of the fan... To try and limit some bacteria and mold cells from getting in? or does it matter once they have grown to the actual mushie stage?

My guess? Probably burn out the fan motor.

Put them in the bottom of a laundry basket with a box fan placed over the top blowing directly on them.

Unless it is too humid where you live you shouldn't have a problem.

Put them on a paper plate on top of the refrigerator with a small desk fan blowing on them, 48 hours later=cracker dry.

You don't need tyvek once they're picked. What are you protecting them from? Contams are bad because they can keep your crop from growing, but as long as your crop is picked and drying at a reasonable rate, it won't go bad.
