I'm not sure what to do with my spawnbags.

I have 4 fully colonized spawnbags, with pf jars crumbled into hpoo. The question is, how do I best fruit them? I could leave them in the bags, or take them out and put on a rack in a perlite FC. Also, is it a good idea to inject water into them? If so how much? They are about 6 pints each.
Thanks in advance.

I would do monotubs... but that's just me. Because it's basically maintenance free.

Not a good idea, as the extra time needed would leave me more open to contams. Anyone else?

Break 'em up into trays, easy. Even if you just use a verm casing, it'll give you better (and faster) results than fruiting them as little poopy footballs in a FC.

Monotub is where it's at. How would extra time leave your more open to contams? If they are still in the spawn bag, you shouldn't have to worry about contams. If you are really that opposed to monotubs, just do as figgusfiddus said, and break them up and fruit them in trays. But trust me, the monotub is the way to go. You don't even have to case, just lay a sheet of wax paper on top of the substrate and your good to go.

Monotub is good, if you don't have a good FC. Sometimes I just assume everyone has a closet greenhouse.

Do you mean crumble and case into a monotub? I suppose that would be OK, but spawning to more poo would take a lot longer.
Thanks for the help here chaps.

Just crumble in a monotub and watch it grow. No need to case. Just make sure you have at least 3 inches of depth, better 4".

Don't crumble them, and don't use colonized horse manure as spawn. Simply cut the top part of the bag off and place in a mini-greenhouse, or cut slits in the top of the bag and use it as it's own fruiting chamber. Casing is optional, but don't break up what you have. Fruit it as it is. RR

Thanks Roger, Do I have to cut slits in the bag to achieve the necessary FAE? It has a filter.
