Woody Stems
    #6825314 - 04/23/07 10:35 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

This is my ist grow. I have Puerto Ricans and the stems look woody. Like a branch or something. Is this normal? Is it the strain or co2 levels or something?

sounds like it could possibly be co2 levels. what method of fruiting are you using, also what are they pf jars, rye, or what?

Unfourtinatly PF-Jars. I use leca and an air pump with 3 air wands. I have 3 holes cut out on top for FAE. Its a large punp btw. Its a Tetra Whisper® Air Pump 100ul.

Genetics. It has nothing to do with CO2. If humidity is too low, it might give that appearance as well.

So everything is fine? Will they smooth out? Humidity is as high as it can get. There is alot of fuzz on the stems as a matter of fact, which i believe is a sign of high humidity. I am trying 24 hrs of light. Would that affect them?
