Knots and Pins forming on aborts...PICTURES(mutant bonus)

Hey everyone. I want to put up a couple pics of some interesting things I'm seeing on my ~1 month old casings. They've gone through 4-5 flushes and still going. However, they all left a ton of aborts as well. The aborts from the first flush seem to be getting overrun by mycelium, and now knots and pins are forming on them!!
I have actually had a few mushrooms grow off of them! I don't have pictures of that, though.
I would like to know what exactly is happening, and I would also like to know if I should try and clear these old pins off, or if I should just let them stay. I think the trays are getting old, but they are still producing and I want to prolong that as far as possible, so any advice is appreciated!
Thanks in advance. Here are the pictures.

Hah, they're fine. Like I said, they're about a month old and have already produced a lot of healthy mushrooms.

They're all abhorts. This tray has gone through 4 or 5 flushes I can't remember. There's all those abhorts left over but it looks like theyre being eaten up by mycelium and theres definitely knots / pins growing from them...
It's still growing new mushrooms too, but only from brand new pins.

you're getting so many aborts because of all that standing water. up the FAE a little bit to even it out and you should have some monsters

That's actually fairly common. Those aren't aborts, but you would benefit from increased air exchange. Don't allow fruits to sit there wet like that. Many species will sprout new pins on developing mushrooms. You see it especially when they've been exposed to stress, such as improper air exchange, poor substrate, or rapid fluctuations in conditions/climate. RR

Interesting, well I did neglect them for a few days. They have gone 5 flushes I think so I was banking on them being pretty much spent, but lo and behold I started watering and fanning again and they all started producing again. I have a ghetto tub that I fan myself, but I've got a great yield. Also, I water a crapload because I live in the desert <20% RH always...

If you live in the desert, you should run a coolmist 24/7 in the the room your grow area is located. That will raise the humidity up to around 50% or so, making it easier to maintain 90+ in your FC. RR
