"However, independent studies have shown that ozone generators do not effectively destroy microbes, remove odor sources, or reduce indoor pollutants enough to provide any health benefits. More alarming, these devices can generate excessive levels of ozone and may contribute to eye and nose irritation or other respiratory health problems for users."

An ozone generator produces o3. That is not as significant as o2. You don't need an o3 generator. If you are growing weed and concerned about smell, get one.

yes they are a health risk .. however i keep the ozone in the terrirum, and not really concerned about health effects, i was just wondering if it would have any adverse effects on the shrooms themselves, because i have found that it works very well on contaminated jars and casings, as in if you put contaminated jars in the terrirum turn on the generator for a day to thoroughly saturate the jars with o3 the contamination actually dies and the mycellium grows over the dead contams. however i have been having problems with pinning on the o3 exposed casings

you should be concerned with the health. Ozone molecules are very carcinogenic.
