I have 6 trays that were colonizing but suddenly strated to form knots even before I started fruiting them. Should I fruit them without a casing layer or could I go ahead and throw one on? Your thoughts?
I went ahead and threw it in the green house right now without a casing but if I need to I can case them.

What's the sub? They should fruit out okay, without a casing layer. You would have done better with one (my opinion). But, shit happens.

If knots are well formed. They could/can abort, if a casing mix is applied. Aborted knots/pins can rot. Especially buried under casing. That being the situation. Adding casing now, could jeopardize the trays longevity. Maybe not, maybe so. It's a tough call.

2 trays are coir and 4 are coir/cowpoo/straw/verm mix. I think i'm just gonna leave this one uncased. It's my first run with the greenhouse so I it's like a practice run. Thanks guys wish me luck
