pan cyan inoculation problems

i was watching on tv where a guy had a pan cyan syringe, two quart jars of wbs, four pint jars of wbs, and four modified pf-tek brf and manure pint jars. he followed tek and inoculated all jars with pan cyan spores. the temp was maintained 78-84 degrees for at least 4 days now and he has yet to see any signs of growth in any jars. i am wondering what could be going wrong. also, i thougt the idea of manure cakes was cool, i wonder if the pans mycellium is hearty enough to colonize a dense brf/manure cake

If I saw growth after 4 days from a pan cyan spore syringe, I would assume it to be a contamination. In my opinion, 4 days is way too soon. Also, when you do see growth it will look a lot wispier than cubensis mycelium. First time I saw it, I thought it was cobweb mold. Hang tight and be patient.

has anybody seen the show planet earth on the discovery channel? i know this is off subject, but they showed a bunch of big dead rain forest bugs like a moth, some kinda beetle, and a stick bug and stuff all with a bunch of mushrooms growin off of them. it was pretty neet. does any body know what kind they were and if they are halucinogenic? they looked really cool.
id like to know how those pan cyans turn out, been thinkin about gettin me some.

they were parasitic mushrooms, remember when the animal, reptile, etc. ate the mushroom it infested the thing and killed it. providing a area to grow from. Sorry don't know what species, i wouldn't eat it thats all i know lol,

It takes Pans quite a bit to colonize-- but once spawned, I read that they are very quick to grow...
4 days after innoc is waay faster than I've ever seen-- double or triple that for a mor enormal time frame.
