About to shop for WBS for first time, questions on that and filter patch bags....
    #6815957 - 04/21/07 01:00 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

Ok, so I'm about to head to the pet store and buy WBS.  I've never tried this before, but I need to get the untreated red/white millet mix kind I know, right? Also, can I use filter patch bags with about a cup of substrate in them in the PC if I fold it up nicely and make sure no water gets in them? seems like I could fit a lot more in a small PC that way.

thanks

peace and

most WBS will work, i went middle of the road, and it worked...

you can fill the bags with much more if desired, just be sure to adjust PC times/spawning rates accordingly.

Find a birdseed without sunflower seeds. 25 pound bags range from $10-$15 which is usually the best deal.

Look at the atoms in the air and allow your mind to see the other planes that coexists in the same physical space where you sit. There are vibrational strings in each and every atom containing infinite realities, universes, and dimensions. Multidimensional beings and entities are RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!!! Only gravity and mental energy can pass through these different atomic branes and mushrooms can break the mental/spiritual membranes separating one reality from the other. TAKE A LOOK!

Just wanted to challenge the notion that the sunflower seeds should be removed. There is a tek that suggests this be done, however, the sunflower seeds colonize just as quickly as any other seed, and will spawn to a substrate just as well as any other seed. It's extra work, and a waste of money (albeit a very small ammount) to remove them. Why hate on the sunflower seeds?
