Use of mineral water in projects........
    #6814100 - 04/20/07 09:18 PM (17 years, 1 month ago)

Back in 1999 when i frist began to study here, there were discussions of useing mineral water ( spring water ) to increse fruiting results. I have not noticed any discussion lately.

A couple of years back i went to a spring near orlando which flows from the aquifer, at the end of the day i took a gallon of water home. I used it in an experiment to see if the claims of better fruiting were true. Well, guess what, the water increased fruiting.

Last month there was a writeup in the local newspaper about a spring near where i live, it said it was chocked full of minerals. It is privately owned & they charge $20 to go take a swim, and also charge $20 a quart online for a filtered version of the water.

Here is the water analysis...

Parts per million
MAGNESIUM 609
SULPHATE 1,667
SODIUM 4,973
POTASSIUM 189
CALCIUM 512
SILICA 6
CHLORIDE 9,300
CARBON DIOXIDE 6
BICARBONATE 167

TOTAL MINERALS
(FIXED SOLIDS) 17,349

I am going to eventually gather some of this water , i want 4 people here who are established mycologists to try out this water in a side by side experiment, who will post pics of the side by side experiment & see if the water helps in fruiting.

I will send a pint to each of the 4, but you must be completely professional with this project.
