As I typed this, a red, velvet ant is slowly dying in it's prison- a paperweight made out of a squared piece of slate bound to a Midori? Melonball glass with some sort of packing tape. It was a gift to me from a friend. I?m not sure what I?m supposed to do with this creature, but I do know this: the fuckers sting and they?re hard to crush. I guess I?ll just wait it out.

My friend showed up early this morning (the bastard). He took it back... he wants it as a pet now. Fine by me. We fed it a piece of pineapple from my garden... but I'm really not sure what it eats. Oh well, I'm pretty sure things will turn out in the end.
