I'm curious about people's opinions of this strain. I was working with it about a year ago, but I had to quit, and only saved some poor, half-sterile prints. I recently germinated the prints without any problems (fortunately ), and a few days ago innoculated 12 jars with a mycelium culture, but I am now curious about other strains. I know that puertos are quite different from say ecuadors.. Unfortuantely I can't easily obtain prints or syringes right now, but I'd really like to get familiar with other strains. Any opinions and comparrisons of this strain to others concerning the growing, potency, trip, and overall rating would be a big help in my decision on sticking with this strain or moving to others. Thanks.

Can't seem to find much detail about them.. I know they're quite aggressive and all, but I was looking for more in depth info. I guess I'm more concerned about the type of high. I've noticed the hawk's eye often gives a brief description of the effects of each strain. Unfortunately they don't carry this one. I was wondering how puerto ricans are on the visual side, what the body high is like, etc.. Also, can anyone explain exactly what variables determine the type of high? Thanks

I too have been looking for some good info on Puerto Ricans. I am on my first grow with them. I heard they are harder to fruit that other strains but thats all i have heard. I haven't heard anything about the trip though. Is it more body high/mind-fuck/visual or is it a mix?

Any info would be great!

that is what im currently growing and i'll speak up for them. They have a medium to high potency which is quit lovly, and they're very hearty shrooms with fast colinizing mycelium. Perfect for the newbie that i am!!!!

Wicked picture!! Great for my album cover - anyway, Puertos are aggressive and can overlay something chronic - if they do, they will not fruit the same way the PES Amazonians can after overlaying - try fruiting from a cake the first time if you have trouble

Yes very fast colonizers, pretty fair flushes, and very potent I might add.

I grew them once a few months ago, they will kick your ass all over the place if you think you can eat them by the handful. I grossly under estimated them, ate like 3g dry, probably 20g or so wet. That was one hell of a ride, I'm glad I was home alone and able to hide out till it went away.
