Coleus (solenostemon hybrida) -active? and acetone extract?

I just went out to a garden store by me, local owned stuff, no walmart, and got myself a coleus plant, because it looks nice and i noticed it on erowid and realized what it was.  Anyway, I got a Solenostemon hybrid, which according to the pictures of the coleus S., seems weird, and must be a hybrid with the Coleus B., because this is what it looks like?



now I hope it's active, and if i find out it is, by smoking dried leave probably, by theirselves, then I will try an acetone extraction, and either put the extract on a leaf, or load it into some capsules since I read it works if ingested.  I'd also be interest in maybe see if an acid extraction would work, but for now I just wanna see if its an active type. I love lucid dreaming aswell, so it should be nice!  Ill update with more at a later time, and be kind to me im new :frown:

I dried the leaves, smoked.. nothing.

powedered the dried leaves, did an acetone exctraction.. nothing.

cold water extraction... nothing.

boiled leaf juice down to a goo.. nothing.

held about 20 leaves in my mouth.. started gagging about 10 seconds later and spit out.

its really not worth the time in my opinion.
good luck though, maybe you'll get some effects.

ive tried coleus. it was dissapointing. i just got smoke in my lungs that didnt need to be there.

i got some diff coleus that looks more like blumei, so ill try that, and i did an acetone extract on the one pictured, but have yet to smoke it, so ill let you all know!

i did a coleus blumei aquas extrac started with 24 gr. of frozen coleus leafs(i expected with this to break cel wall and so realise the active substance)

blender with 300ml of water
heat in stove in minimal power for 30 t0 40 min
reapeat 2 to 3 times
filter colect the aquas extraction
placed in porcelain tray (oven tipe) boeiled in minimal power to mos evaporation maybe less than 2%
scraped the cristaline powder
placed in with paper on top of a lamp for further disecation-silica gel could prove itself useful in thes step)

havent tried it yet ill post a pic of the plantes used maybe someone could confirm if it is truly coleus blumei

That's the second, less common type, but it's active as well. It's pathetic how little is known about this plant.
