How do these Casings look???

They have been in the FC for 6 days now. The casings were made using 1" of 60/40 coir/verm/oyster shell mix on the bottom, 2 quart jars of rye grain substrate, and 1/4" casing layer on top. They were covered with tin foil and incubated for 5 days. The myc poking through was patched then the casings were put into the FC.

Like I said they have been in the FC for 4 days and you can't see any knotting or pinning yet. I know it might still be early for pins, I would just appreciate some opinions on how the casings look so far. Thanks!
BTW this a description of the FC

Yes they are a little dry, they have been misted lightly once a day with 10% peroxide 90% water solution. Through reading I was under the impression that misting was not really necessary. Am I mistaken?

you have to keep the casing layer moist...
misting would be the way to do that.

Thanks for the input Roadkill. I'll mist more to keep the casing layer moist. How often do you recommend misting? Lightly a few times a day, heavily once per day, etc.?

in my opinion, we need to learn about the environment they evolved in, then replicate that environment as much as possible.
