I have a tray of 2 quarts of wbs and about half a block of coir incubating at 72F.

When do i put it in the fruiting chamber?

Also would you guys recommend casing in verm

I would not recommend casing with verm alone. I don't know why it works so poorly, but through my own experiments, and the results of others, pure vermiculite performs poorly. Mix the verm 50/50 with reed sedge peat and add 5-10% calcium carbonate to raise the PH.

The substrate should be incubated until it's totally covered in white and no substrate can be seen. Usually takes around 4 days. After applying the casing you wait until mycelium is just starting to poke through, hopefully in a uniform pattern over the whole casing. Takes 3-4 days. Additional casing material can be used to patch overly vigorous growth just before placing it in fruiting conditions.
