righto sweet. I just wasn't exactly what is need. Flexibility, thickness etc.

So ill just cut a coat hanger, make a loop on one end, a handle of some sort on the other

I fashioned my first one out of guitar string.

really? well thats heaps thinner then a coat hanger.

I've ended up making a handle out of a hanger. Now im just trying to think where i can pilfer some thin wire from. No guitar strings unfortunatly.

It depends on how creative you want to get. Have a broken or useless device that uses AA batteries? You could rip out the little contact spring and straighten it out. It would be really short, though.

I dunno, I'm stoned. You could try the hardware store...

stainless steel wire...

if you can find any laying around the house...

or at the hardware store.

Some specialty sporting good stores have spinning lure making material...

look for the stainless steel wire used to make those.

they are cheap!~

If you want one...

send me your mailing address in a pm...

and I'll send you one in a letter.

What about a spiral bound notebook? You could unwrap all the wire you need.

Back when I started.
I made several from SS wire & handles I bought at Ace hardware.
For like $10 in parts, I made 6 or 7.

Dental pick sets are all over Ebay CHEAP.

Not to mention, in a PINCH.
You can use a SYRINGE NEEDLE, on the end of a syringe.

I used to use a scalpel, but realized why germination was so poor when I used a scalpel to scrape some spores onto a microscope slide for observation. The scalpel cut them to shreds, and about 3/4 of them were ripped open. I have the picture I took of those spores somewhere on one of my archived hard drives. I'll try to find it one of these days. That's why something with a rounded edge such as wire is preferred over anything sharp.
