There are pro's & con's to LC. But, for SURE, it's FAST.
 About 50 hours after inoculation.

 60 ml capped LC syringe
Maybe 3.5 5 small squirts, 1 in each corner & 1 down center. I swivel the syringe & do it fairly fast.
It is sort of a jar to jar judgment thing. I shake each jar right prior to innoc. Insert needle through port. Squirt a little against the glass. And watch it run down the inside of the jar.
The per squirt amount is PERFECT. If the stream of LC running down the inside jar wall. SLOWS & stops, just as it reaches the bottom of the jar.
Trick is to get as much in the jar, as possible. Without causing a POOL in the jar bottom.

1 LEVEL TEASPOON Light dry malt, to one large TABLESPOON dry dextrose.
Stir into quart of boiling water. Decant filtering through triple coffee filters. Into 2 quart jars, each half full.
Add a lids with a needle port & G/E provision. PC around 20 minutes @ 13/24 psi.
Use local phone book to find home Brew beer supply store. A pound of dry dextrose & 1/2 pound of light dry malt. Is about a 10 year supply & costs around $5 or 6 bucks.
Shop ebay, for a stir plate bargains. (with patience, you can get a good 1, under $60 shipping included)
1 gallon LC Amber because I was slightly high on dry malt content)
LC not done on a stir plate are stringy. So, myc tends to stay on top wbs/grains.
Done on a stir plate is far faster. Plus, myc is cut into tiny tiny threads. Which create MORE contact points. And will run from top to bottom of jar.

Once you get a good LC going, you'll never want to inoculate another grain jar with spores ever.

Havnt really wanted to bug you about the favor you offered though since it was a favor out of your generousity.....
