I just posted a thread about how to decrease drying time, and I included a pic of my box fan setup. Basically I put two books on the ground to elevate it and put the box fan upside down so its blowing towards the ground. Then i put a little screen on top if it and lay the mushrooms on top!

all i do is put the wet shrooms in an open tupperware container, and place a fan on top... after 2 days, i place the semi-dried shrooms in a big ziplock bag with damp-rid in it... look

i actually bought mine at walgreens next to the laudry/cleaning products.. 3 dollars for the damp-rid container(comes with a small bad of damp-rid) and i bought a big re-fill damp-rid box for another 3 bucks... cheap and easy to find..
EDIT: a fan works fine, but after the fan does its work, the damp-rid is good for making the shrooms cracker dry... fan for 2 days... then damprid for 2 days... and your golden

what im gonna do is take a bigger tupperware bowl cut 2 circles out of sum rabbit fence one smaller (if its a tappered bowl) towards the bottom of the bowl that i will set a wash cloth on w/ sum damp rid on that. the second circle will be up towards the top more that i will set the mushies on and then cover. all the water that is extracted will catch in the bottom of the bowl below the damp rid.

This is what I do.
Two paper furnace filters the size of a box fan, a box fan, bungee cords with hooks.
Sandwich your fruits between the two filters. Strap the filter to the front of the fan. Set to blow.
I learned this watching Good Eats.

hahaha nice. that was sort of what i was thinkin but i was gonna put the mushes between some chicken wire on the bottom of the box the put the fan on top and cut a hole in the bottem where the chicken wire is so air can blow through. how does that sound?
