Yes.. its ok to spray the pins and the other mycelium with it. Is the cobweb showing up in ohter places.. or just the same area? Its best if you can pick out that deak cobweb mold area then move the straw around and spray real good. Cobweb mold moves EXTREMELY fast on straw.. and start laying little black eggs within a day or two if you hadn't of sprayed that big area down. Straw is the hardest substrate to get rid of cobweb mold.. but I believe it can be done. Feell free to give the entire casing a good misting a couple times a day for a day or so to stop it from speading. Also give lots of fresh air... and if possible lower the temps during this period. It will spread slower if at all.

It is only showing up in the same area. I will cut it out now.

Will it spread below the surface or only on top where it can be seen?

If it gets below the surface your screwed. More so with grains.. I think with straw you'll have a better chance of cutting it out before it runs though the whole thing. That is the whole key to beating with h202 though.. you have to get it right away and stop it before it does get below into the substrate. Sounds like your doing a good job though. Be carefull when you pull it out.
Spray it down thoroughly.. you dont want cobweb mold spores flying over into other parts of the casing.

I'm having the same problem except my casings are only 2 cakes cut in half. As far as I know, I didn't have cobweb last week and have been spraying with H202 since then. Now I do have cobweb and it keeps coming back even though I drench my casings. THey are getting plenty of air exchange
WHat's going on?

If it keeps coming back then it may be down into the substrate already. Once it gets to the substrate.. there really isnt much stopping it. What you can try, is spaying down the casing layer real good. The scrape it off. Spray that exposed layer of substrate lighty. Add new casing soil to it. Keep a close eye on it. this may help.
