 I've been bit by a vampire, and it sucks.

It all started about three months ago............
I started to get a small rash on my eyelids. Over time it slowly started to spread on my face, the burning, and the itching was getting unbearable. First doctor couldn't help me, neither could the next dermatologist, but maybe the ER room could help me after I had become really sick on top of that...nope.....First they said it was allergic reaction to hay, one said he had no clue, and I swear I heard him say, "Next patient"! My blood was taken two times this past week, and Thurs/Fri i go and see both a allergist, and a dermatologist. Over these past three months Ive been pissed as fuck trying to think of what it is that only touches my face/knuckles/topside of my hand........I talked to my mom today and i think i finally figured it out, as I didn't know she is allergic to the sun. Tomorrow I'm going to see if my guess is correct but man these past three months have been hell from the itching, the hallucinations from Prednisone were horrible, and the body feeling of all the steroids they had me on was fucked up. If I really am allergic to the sun that will suck balls, but at least ill finally figure out what I'm allergic to. I suppose I can tell people a vampire bit me...

The Prednisone has made you highly sensitive to the sun.
That...on top of stress are your culprits.
It will go away as the Prednisone leaves your system.

I actually came of prednisone last week. The rash was gone, and I felt great. So I decided to do some yard work for about 4 hours. That night as I layed in bed I started to feel it coming back. Next morning not only was it on my face, it was on my kneck where the sun was hitting it.=(

Wear a large hat, and sunscreen daily for a week.
Drink lots of water to flush out the steroids.
Take a multi-vitamin or some Ovaltine,
You'll feel a lot better...I PROMISE.

Man as someone who lives in phoenix, I can tell you that you picked the WRONG state to be allergic to the sun.

sun sensitivity can be a symptom of lupus......mention that to your doctors.
Good luck brother, I hope this gets cleared up quick.
