my cakes are far to wet? My shrooms have all stalled
    #6800791 - 04/17/07 05:29 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

My cakes showed signs of pinning after I removed them from the incubator, but when I took them out of the jars they were very wet. Now I've had them in the fruiting chamber for more than a week. Many, many shrooms have sprouted, but they ALL have stopped growing soon after they appeared. The entire flush has stalled. Was this due to the cakes being so wet when I had them in incubator?

Could be due to many factors. Since the pins sprouted you did everything right until that point. My guess is either lack of FAE or humidity too low. Did you dunk / roll?
