I still pop in Jagged Little Pill from time to time. Seriously.

these are some that i remember the most: marcy playground - sex and candy nirvana - smells like teen spirit smashing pumpkins - 1979 billy joel - river of dreams cher - believe dave matthews band - crash into me

No.
God, all those bands you listed SUCKED. They sucked 10 years ago, and they still suck today.

Its not that I like those bands or the music they made, but it was some of the first music that I chose to listen to on my own and not from my parents record collection. I bet its the same case with many other people who remember that junk fondly.

Those songs sure have catchy lyrics, especially after the first couple hundred times you've heard the song.
Personally, I like music with no lyrics period.

I like Ben Folds, but that's it. And I don't know if I would consider any of those pop. When you say 90s pop I think of NSYNC and shit.

Ben Harper doesn't suck at all. He's a great song writer and shouldn't even be in that list.

Like I miss lyme disease...
-------------------- "And we, inhabitants of the great coral of the Cosmos, believe the atom (which still we cannot see) to be full matter, whereas, it too, like everything else, is but an embroidery of voids in the Void, and we give the name of being, dense and even eternal, to that dance of inconsistencies, that infinite extension that is identified with absolute Nothingness and that spins from its own non-being the illusion of everything."

Not one bit. I don't miss any pop, ever. Except Josta, but that's not the point.
I do miss 90s alt rock. Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, STP, Alice in Chains and all the awesome one-hitters like Spacehog etc. back when they dominated rock radio.
How long until classic rock stations pick it up? It's getting on to be 10-15 years old now and still rocks. Damn baby boomers... :shakes fist:
