Too wet jars...?
    #6798723 - 04/17/07 08:06 AM (16 years, 11 months ago)

Say you've got a few jars that look quite a bit too wet on the bottom, but fine everywhere else. These jars are JUST starting to show the first faint signs of myc growth. How would you fix this? Is it too early to take the tape off and turn them upside down?

79 degrees, 40% humidity in chamber.

I'd rotate the jars and spread the water around the entirety of the insides if I could-- also shaking the hell out of them to mix the water into the seed.

If you pool in the bottom(or in any one place) you're asking for trouble

It is BRF, not seed.

Hmmm... if BRF is that wet, I'd say you're kinda screwed... but you could try the rotate thing-- if you have a verm layer on top (you do, right?) you could roll the jars so the verm absorbs the liquid and loosed the lid to dry it out... aside that, I wish you good luck
