Run me out in the cold rain & snow

It's been a wet couple days here; mad flooding, trees & powerlines down all over the place, mixtures of snow and rain.......
When I was coming home from work yesterday there were points were it was literally like driving my car out of a pool, that's how much water was pouring over it. I had to stop for a minute.
If you see my friend Spring, tell her to get her ass on up here, she's late.

Yeah I hear ya. I don't know how far exactly you are away in miles but the ground here is so saturated. I'm so glad I live at the top of a hill and not down by the Schuylkill . How bad is it flooded?

It varies from place to place. Some parts aren't flooded at all, others are really bad. My back yard is kinda flooded, though it's gone down a lot....I expected it to be worse honestly.
Some parts are bad though; manholes turned into fountains and whatnot. Plus all the trees and powerlines down. Downed livewires laying in flooded out ditches and streets is a bad combination......

yeah, it's a great song....I bet that's the only way Phil can sing it without spending his breaks from the road on the couch.

I witnessed a quality performance of Cold Rain and Snow by a local jam band about two weeks ago. It was a blustery 25 outside, very windy, and snowing. Perfect song selection.

-------------------- "And we, inhabitants of the great coral of the Cosmos, believe the atom (which still we cannot see) to be full matter, whereas, it too, like everything else, is but an embroidery of voids in the Void, and we give the name of being, dense and even eternal, to that dance of inconsistencies, that infinite extension that is identified with absolute Nothingness and that spins from its own non-being the illusion of everything."
