I've been looking into some reiki... or at least trying to, but I can't seem to find any good info on the web. Could someone help me out here?

i dunno i dont read i practice it and go with my inner flow in healing i stumbled upon it far before i ever head of reiki or knew of any of that stuff

What do you suppose Reiki is? Is it a placebo treatment, whereby if the recipient truly believes in its efficacy, then it generally works? That was my first conclusion, but when a practitioner demonstrated the energy involved in Reiki, it was a very tangible sensation, which makes me very curious.

That's what I was wondering too.
I took reiki courses and now I'm doing it on my own.
The "energy" is very "palpable"indeed. For me and for those I do reiki for.
But I also think it only "works" if you give it some confidence.
Anyways, from my own experience, there is definitely something out there...

nah the person doesnt have to be even aware thats its being done and the whole them not being aware factor is kinda part of black magic. tho in healing with it i agree that if the person is willing it greatly aids you in it and if they are aware of their energy they can help you flow.
mushroom trip you ever take anyones spirtual energy and drain them?

But anyways... no... and it doesn't work that way, at least in my opinion, these are just things you read and get scared.

Yeah... sounds interesting.. too bad I have absolutely no idea where to find people to give me all these 'attunements' people keep talking about. That's what I was really wondering... is there and way to do this over the net?

well almost all magic is channeling that same energy. and no its not just that i read it that i have done it and taught people who to which i regret doing. Spirtual energy in magic,reiki,shamanism,tai chi and ect.. is still the same spirtual energy it depends on how you use it and what you do with it.black magic is kinda using reiki but in reverse thats what it has to do with it. btw its not wierd its wyrd or wurþiz. do you practice tia chi as well as reiki?

so tell some stuff about formal reiki teaching lady and do you ever use it on plants or felt life force of plants with it? and do you use symbols? once i had my friend give me a seal on my arm which was badass and resulted in a 3 day trip
yeah im always interested in other peoples views because getting an understanging of that can always be applied to the understanding of everything else cause all is one

I saw one of my best mates faint when a guy put his palms on his back and chest (the where perperndicularly... spelling??), he lost his senses and was sweating for about 5 minutes... the next day his back pain was gone...
So I'm coninvces there's something out there!
