Damn Frisbee...

It knocked me right in the tooth. I was playing ultimate with some friends and my friend decided to throw the frisbee extremely fast in my direction. So he says my name a little too late and i turn around to find "oh cool. a frisbee hurdling towards my face."
So my natural reactive is to say something along the lines of "Shit" and while i was making the "Sh" sound, it smacked me right in the tooth. It missed my lip completely which saved me from have a terrible swollen lip.
The tooth is now loose, and can wiggle back and forth if i push and pull on it (which i am not doing anymore for fear of it falling out.) It only wiggles a few millimeters though. So i was wondering. is it going to fall out? or just take a while to cement itself back in place? Is there no hope for my tooth?
(its one of the big ones in the front top part. you know. the big ones that, if one fell out, you'd look like a complete douche for the rest of your life.)

I am (firefox or my keyboard is preventing me from using an apostrophe) guessing you should keep it exactly where you want it to end up. If you have the funds, seek an orthodontist or maybe dentist immediately. I really woundn't expect it to fall out unless it hurt like a broken bone - it's hard to explain the kind of pain, but bone breakage feels different- but if the root is cracked, it could. You should probably get a tooth splint. Loan if you must, replacement teeth are far more expensive.

It wont/shouldnt fall out, the gum cement or how you call it should grab it again and secure it in place. So try not to move it too much and keep it in its original position (and dont eat with it!).

Heh, I had braces up until recently so I got some VERY wiggly teeth. And it didn't help when I got smashed in the face (boys will be boys).
I would still see a dentist if you have dental coverage. It's better to be safe than sorry. I've had random things happen like getting hit in the loose tooth with a big metal spoon (don't ask), so yeah... it would be a lot better than having the tooth fall out, crack or die, you know. Other than that, you probably WILL be fine. Just take it easy.
