Tape for sealing- what to use?

I need to get some saran wrap over the whole in the roof of my terrarium. I realize now that invisible tape doesn't work. I heard gaffa tape- anyone know?

Packaging tape, duct tape....... anything wide that will stick to both surfaces.

Yes, gaffa tape works, put it on the outside.
