I am looking for a description of how a psilocybe mycelium converts the substrate nutreints into psilocin and psilocybin. Specifically, What are the componds in the substrate that contribute directly to the formation of these? Does anyone know if research has been done in this area?

I don't think it's biology, more like mycology.
