RR, I was reading somewhere last night in a post here that you wrote(that I cannot find again)...that to callibrate a non digital hygrometer you wrap up the hygrometer in a hot wet towel for a half hour and set to 98%. Did I get that right? Flipside13

This >> http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/5399720#5399720 was the 1st thing that came up when typing the word calibrate into the search with RR's user name

Darn search engine.
The towel doesn't need to be warm. Another method is to put the hygrometer outside when it's been raining for a few hours. Let it sit for an hour and adjust so it reads 98% to 99%. RR

Pleez edu-ma-cate me, cuz I just a newbie and me needs all da helps I can geet. Either way, thanks for the clarification on the callibration, I am doing it now. Flipside13

Just always use "search posts" and not "search site" type the word you are looking for and right under that is the place to type in user name

Ah...fucking awesome. Way better search engine to use. Thank ya, Blutjager.
Also, I did the wet towel thing - overnight in fact(I forgot about it) and it seemed to work the charm. Thanks RR.

No problem,I remember getting frustrated with the "Search site" till I figured it out, with the search posts you usually can find what your looking for, sometimes more information of it than you even need
