Casing this weekend

Im going to be making 4 casings (50/50 peat verm)this weekend with my brazilians. This is a first time grow and I think that 2 of the casings are going to be spawned to coir first, and the other 2 just cased with 50/50. Should I spawn them all to the coir before I case, or just 2.. Im looking to experiment a little!
Im thinking of pressure cooking the casing mix in jars. After I expand the coir with water can I stick it in a jar as well to pressure cook for 30 mins at 15psi?

Since its your first grow maybe spawn 2 to coir and case 2 by themselves that way if your coir goes south then you have the other 2 to fall back on.
PC'ing the casing is overkill and not necessary and you don't want to sterilize the coir only pasteurize so PC'ing wouldn't be the way to go.

you want to pastuerize them...not sterilize them.
here is a good method...

With all the recommendations to pasteurize substrate and casing material by the experienced growers, I fail to see why you'd want to PC them, but it's your choice.
I'd suggest spawning your mycelium into the coir. You won't case it for ten days to two weeks after the coir substrate has had a chance to get fully colonized. At that point, make your casing mix up and apply it.
Just so you can learn proper nomenclature, the 'casing' is only the non-nutritious top layer. It is not a name for the project or a synonym for the tray that holds it. RR

I got some used grounds from starbucks... And yes, since it will take longer to harvest when spawning first, I think ill case 2 w/o spawning it.

RogerRabbit and Blut, will coir/coffee as bulk substrate produce as well in later flushes without adding Hydrated Lime and Gypsum? Or does that one little addition go a long way? -after all that is said and done with these bulk coir teks?
EDIT: Lime/gypsum is only required to adjust ph of CASING LAYERS and not substrate, right?

I have never had a coir casing go more than three flushes and the third one is usually just a few mushrooms, they may be huge but not really all that worth waiting for so I only let them go if I haven't prepared anything else to go in and take their place so I usually toss them out after the second flush,I have never added hydrated lime to anything so I cant say and the only time I use gypsum is to keep grains from sticking together in jars, for casing I use pasteurized miracle grow moisture control and I add nothing to it
