so i saved those fucked up jars and made a little casing, but its taking a little while to pin. there has been knoting for about three days, but the mycelium just keeps growing and im getting lots of overlay, but its not pinning. what can i do?

I bet its not overlay. Whats your conditions? Knotting for about 3 days means you're probably about to get some pins.

well the mycelium is growing like crazy, i know its not cobweb because i can tell the difference. i just have it over some perlite in a little storage bin. and i dont have a digital camera, so i cant give pics.

Well if your mycelium is growing like crazy and its not cobweb then maybe you need to look at your conditions. How long have you had them exposed to fruiting conditions and what are they?

You could try pasteurizing a nice new batch of casing and re casing it.

Just a thought.

its been in the fruiting chamber for about a week. i just have it over damp perlite, and the mycelium is doing ok so i dont have heat on it or anything.
